CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test)

The CTET stands for Central Teacher Eligibility Test. CTET Notifications release twice in a year and it is a wonderful opportunity for those who want to become a Teacher. It is a National level examination for qualifying those who want to become a teacher in Government aided or Private CBSE schools.

Method of Submission of Online Application Form:

STEP1: Log on to CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in.

STEP2: Go to the link “Apply Online” and open the same.

STEP3: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Reg. No./Application No.

STEP4: Upload Scanned Images of latest Photograph and Signature

STEP5: Pay Examination Fee by e-challan or debit/credit card and net banking

STEP6: Print Confirmation page for record and future reference.

CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test)

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education) *.

Paper-II (Elementary Stage)

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) or Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

Structure & Content of CTET

Educational Qualification for eligibility shall be allowed to the candidates All questions in CTET test will be MCQs, each carrying one mark. There will be no negative marking. Note: Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks in the minimum belonging SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled.
